The Rah-Rah Ranch is USDA licensed petting zoo and pony ride facility that undergoes routine APHIS animal welfare inspections to insure we have met government standards for cleanliness & animal care. We go above and beyond to make sure our animals are properly handled and taken care of to insure the safety of the public and our animal pets being exhibited.

 

Some of our routine for biosecurity include: cleaning & mucking out livestock stalls 2x daily, water buckets, feed bins and panels are bleached bi-weekly, hooves trimmed every 4 weeks (extra growth can cause feces to stick in hooves), all animals with fiber/wool are sheared 2x a year, all animals receive yearly vaccinations, wormed every 2-3 months, new animals are quarantined for up to 7 days and must pass health inspection & veterinarian visits our facility twice yearly to check all animals.

 

For your safety and the safety of others, please wash your hands after exiting the animal exhibit. We do supply hand sanitizer for each event, but please avoid hand to mouth activities such as eating, drinking, touching your eyes, nose or mouth until after you have washed your hands with soap and water.
